My name is Ruth Hart and I have been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil. I have always been passionate about animals, especially dogs, so it seemed natural to combine the two. My favourite medium is charcoal, being well suited to the textures of my animal subjects. I have also branched out and do matching stationery and promotional gifts.

I live in the Essex Countryside with my five smooth coat Chihuahuas. I enjoy training my dogs and competing in Open and Championship Shows all over the country.

My love of animals especially Chihuahuas helps me to create realistic portraits and I am willing to try any other pet you may have.
